| 31 Jul | Launching tomorrow - Lots of boats to get launched but you will have plenty of time so no need to rush <p>There will be 323 boats setting sail tomorrow in the Main Fleet plus a further 45 in the Regatta Fleet so sailors cooperation is crucial in getting everyone away in an ordered fashion. Launching will not take place until all boats are on the beach and so there is no need to move boats around in the dinghy compound until the gates are opened. It is single file down to the beach and you must tally as you enter the beach (and tally off on the way back). Rushing to get there first just means longer to wait around and the potential of injury to you and your fellow sailors! Those of you who have been down to the beach will have seen that there is more than enough room for everyone - so spread out along the waters edge when you reach the beach.</p> <hr /> <p> </p> |
